The Swordpaw year begins and ends with Halloween. This year, in addition to working on projects of our own, we’ll be recording a-song-a-month with an artist that we love. Sometimes the band will come in with a full-fledged song and we’ll just put the mics up and hit record. Other times, they might have a rough sketch of an idea that we’ll help flesh out and maybe even play a note or two. Either way, we get to practice our recording/production skills, the artists get some free recording time and a space to experiment, and you get a window into the process and something that’s interesting and entertaining to listen to.
